18 April 2024 | The tradition-rich brands Dillinger and Saarstahl are launching their brands with a new look starting today. The new design highlights the ambition of the companies to remain one of Europe’s most modern and innovative steel manufacturers even after decarbonization.
Both brands are adopting elements of their shared transformation brand Pure Steel+, giving them a fresh coat of paint in the truest sense of the word: The “sickles” on the Saarstahl logo and the Dillinger coat of arms have turned green. The focus on the future is also reflected in the new slogan: We are Pure Steel+.
“The new brand identities symbolize the strategic realignment of Dillinger and Saarstahl and mark an important milestone in the development of both companies,” explained Stefan Rauber, Chairman of the Board of Management of Dillinger (Aktien-Gesellschaft der Dillinger Hüttenwerke) and Saarstahl AG. “The premium brands Saarstahl and Dillinger stand for quality, partnership and reliability. We are preserving these values in the new design and taking them into the future.”
Chief Sales Officer Danny van der Hout added:
“The new websites skillfully combine the ‘tried and tested’ with the ‘new,’ making them an important part of the sales campaign we’ve launched to better address our existing customers as well as to acquire new customers. They generate high recognition value and are modern and forward-looking.”
The new brand identities are accompanied by a redesign of the company websites, which can be found as before at www.dillinger.de and www.saarstahl.com. In addition, the Pure Steel+ website (www.pure-steel.com) now offers a wide range of insights into the Saarland steel industry with interesting articles and a job portal for the companies of the SHS Group (SHS – Stahl-Holding-Saar). The subsidiaries of Dillinger and Saarstahl will be considered and included in the new design in future stages of development.
