Metal + Metallurgy China

The 2015 Metal + Metallurgy China, featuring the 13th China International Foundry Expo, the 15th China International Metallurgical Industry Exhibition, the 13th China International Industrial Furnace Exhibition and the 11th China International Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Exhibition, will be held from March 31 to April 3, 2015 at the newly built China Expo Complex in Hongqiao CBD.

The 2015 Metal + Metallurgy China, featuring the 13th China International Foundry Expo, the 15th China International Metallurgical Industry Exhibition, the 13th China International Industrial Furnace Exhibition and the 11th China International Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Exhibition, will be held from March 31 to April 3, 2015 at the newly built China Expo Complex in Hongqiao CBD.

Rated as Asia’s largest and the world’s second largest expo in the metal and metallurgical industry, Metal + Metallurgy China (a collective name for China International Foundry Expo, China International Metallurgical Industry Expo, China International Industrial Furnaces Exhibition, China International Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Exhibition) has gained global prominence and high recognition in the hot metal processing and metallurgical industry in the world. At the just-concluded Metal + Metallurgy China 2014 in Beijing, the exhibitors highly acknowledged the industrial value and influence of this top-notch Expo with a history of over 20 years and readily expressed their willingness to participate in the next show.

The 2015 Expo, featuring the 13th China International Foundry Expo, the 15th China International Metallurgical Industry Exhibition, the 13th China International Industrial Furnace Exhibition and the 11th China International Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Exhibition, will be held from March 31 to April 3, 2015 at the newly built China Expo Complex in Hongqiao CBD.


This Expo is jointly organized by China Iron and Steel Association, China Foundry Association, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), Metallurgical Council of CCPIT, Industrial Furnace Institution of CMES and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. The exhibiting space is expected to exceed 80,000 m2. In addition to the conventional exhibitions, Metal + Metallurgy China 2015 will have new contents in casting robots and die casting, and will incorporate a metal deep processing section that covers the entire industrial chain. A series of value-added activities such as summit forums that are to be carried out during the Expo period will create excellent opportunities for industry updates, exchange of views and mutual cooperation.

Industriepolitik 2026: „Raus aus dem Jammertal, rauf auf den Lösungsweg“

Der Wirtschaftsverband Stahl- und Metallverarbeitung (WSM) fordert konkrete Sofortmaßnahmen zur Stärkung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit: Aussetzung des nationalen CO2-Preises für die Industrie und Abschaffung des Solidaritätszuschlags. „Wir müssen raus aus dem Jammertal, rauf auf den Lösungsweg”, betont WSM-Hauptgeschäftsführer Christian Vietmeyer. Beide Maßnahmen seien kurzfristig umsetzbar und würden 2026 direkt wirken.
