8 December 2023 | Promising start to the 50th anniversary of NürnbergMesse: The International Trade Fair for Die Casting, Euroguss 2024, is fully booked.

With a wide range of exhibitors and an extensive programme of lectures, events, competitions and the Die Casting Day, Euroguss 2024 promises to be another essential event for the industry. More than 620 national and international exhibitors are expected to take part – the International Trade Fair for Die Casting from 16 to 18 January 2024 is fully booked. The exhibitors will show everything die casting has to offer along the entire value chain, from the smallest zinc die castings to giant aluminium castings, the so-called giga castings.

Key themes: Megacasting and additive manufacturing

Visitors will find many places for meeting and networking, for example at the joint stands like the Additive Manufacturing Pavilion, the ‘SpeakersCorner‘ and the ‘Young Innovators‘ joint stand, where they can exchange information about research, innovation and start-ups, as well as the opportunities offered by 3D printing in die casting.

Guided tours will provide visitors with targeted and efficient information on specific topics such as giga-casting. The tours are particularly interesting for newcomers to the industry and offer a concentrated overview of the opportunities in die casting in just 60 minutes. The tours are hosted and led by industry experts.

“With the participation of virtually all of the industry’s major die casters, machine builders and moldmakers, megacasting will be a key theme at Euroguss 2024,” says Christopher Boss, Executive Director of Euroguss. “At the same time, our exhibitors and the many formats of the show will once again impressively demonstrate that die casting is and can be so much more.”

Knowledge exchange at the highest level

In Nuremberg, trade visitors will find a central platform for exchanging information about developments along the entire die casting value chain and for shaping the future of the industry together.

Organised by the Association of German Die Casting Foundries (VDD) and the Federal Association of the German Foundry Industry (BDG), the 23rd Die Casting Day will take place parallel to Euroguss in the NCC. On all three days of the exhibition, experts from renowned companies and automotive manufacturers such as Volvo and the BMW Group will be giving numerous presentations on technical innovations and market developments in die casting.

Experience a variety of applications live

Following its great success in 2022, the Association of German Die Casting Foundries (VDD) and the Euroguss trade fair are organising the European Die Casting Competition for the second time to show the public and customers the wide range of applications of the process. The criteria for evaluation are innovation, quality standards and performance in the categories aluminium, magnesium and aluminium alloys.
