This year the visit of the congress will be even more attractive for people with practical experience because Wednesday, as the first day of the congress, is reserved solely for lectures on the industrial practice. Among others, lectures on safety, sensor technology, hardness testing, trends and news available in systems engineering will be presented. Exhibitors may obtain a discount card in the ticket shop for the day.
One highlight of the congress will be the plenary speech on Thursday morning by Peter Buchholz from “Deutschen Rohstoffagentur” (German Mineral Resources Agency) about current trends on the international commodity markets. The focal points of the 30 lectures of the congress programme include the topics of crack detection, press hardening, material properties, surface hardening, distortion and bainite. Admission to the exhibition is included in the entrance ticket to the HK.
