This year, the programme will start with one day on “Heat Treatment Practice”. Exhibitors may obtain a discount card in the ticket shop for this day. The highlight of the congress event will be the plenary speech on Thursday morning by Peter Sander from Airbus Operations on “Additive manufacturing – opportunities and challenges for product design and and production”. All lectures will be interpreted simultaneously in German and English.
At the beginning of July, already 220 exhibitors registered for the trade fair. This is again more than 2016. Among new exhibitors from Germany also the number of exhibitors from the European abroad and from China has increased. There is only space for one booth left and probably until September at the first time the HK exhibition space will be sold out. The attractive offer for new exhibitors at the “newcomer-area” is also still available again with seven places left.
All students have the opportunity to receive free congress and exhibition tickets. With this, the AWT offers all prospective engineers and scientists the chance to get to know the leading forum of exchange for heat treatment and materials technology issues. Registration in the ticket shop must be accompanied only by a form of student identification.
