Electromobility is an essential factor in supporting the reduction of CO2-emissions and stopping the ongoing increase of global temperatures. Therefore, new layouts and designs of e-motors are essential and highly powerful electric motors must be developed.

Electrical steel sheets are the central preliminary product.

Further processes are the punching, joining, and producing of electric motors and their adaption in vehicles. All processes must be accompanied by the testing of electric properties and by scientific research. IESSS will bring all partners of this  specific value chain together, to exchange their research, experiences, and to improve the power of electric vehicles. This, and further standardization are elementary conditions to increase customer acceptance of this technology.
