Change of leadership at ArcelorMittal in Duisburg: Dr. Cem Kurutas will be the new CEO of the ArcelorMittal plant in Duisburg from January 1, 2024. Dr. Kurutas succeeds Paul Tetteroo, who will take up a new role at ArcelorMittal in Luxembourg on September 1, 2023 after nine years at the helm of the Duisburg plant. By the end of the year, Dr. Uwe Braun, managing director of the Duisburg plant and CEO of the Hamburg ArcelorMittal plant, will also manage the Duisburg location.

Dr. Kurutas began his professional career in 2007 and has since worked in various companies. Most recently, he was Vice President Operations at Outokumpu Nirosta in Germany.
