Rinnhofer, a Mechanical Engineer with Doctor’s degree, contributes a wide experience of thermoprocess technology and related plant engineering, which will give positive impetus for the further development of Elotherm.
After leading positions within the Voest Alpine group, nationally and internationally, Rinnhofer served as Chairman of the Board at Maerz-Gautschi Industrieofenanlagen in Düsseldorf/ Germany and COO at Hochtemperatur Engineering Gruppe.
From 2008 to 2012, Johann Rinnhofer was Chairman of the Managing Board at Otto Junker group, a manufacturer of high-grade castings, heat treatment as well as induction systems for the foundry and semi-finished product industries.
After acting as a consultant and a Managing Director’s position at Climax Portable Machining & Welding Systems, the 52-year-old was appointed for the Managing Board of SMS Elotherm. Johann Rinnhofer is honorary professor for Industrial Furnace Construction at the Montanuniversität Leoben in Austria.Johann Rinnhofer is the spokesmen of the Managing Board and takes responsibility for Technical and Sales departments. The commercial managing director Martin Schulteis accounts for finance, HR and Project Execution.
