After a courageous MBO in 1997, Edgar Barth and Dr. Meddour have formed and developed the company for almost 20 years. Also the move into the new production facility in Jopestraße 10 in Tübingen demonstrates the successful management and development of Himmelwerk under the leadership of Edgar Barth and Dr. Meddour. Both continue to share their knowledge and experience as consultants for Himmelwerk.
Dr. Andreas Seitzer (photo) has studied Electrotechnical Engineering at University of Erlangen-Nürnberg with a special in High Frequency Technology and holds a PhD of RWTH Aachen, Department of Metallurgy and Material Technology. He has worked for several years in different companies in Germany, Belgium and USA, before he was appointed in 2003 Managing Director of SMS Elotherm, a manufacturer of induction heating and heat treatment equipment based in Remscheid, Germany.
Himmelwerk will continue to serve those markets wherever complex induction heating or heat treatment processes are demanding highest quality products.
