heat processing welcomes new member to the Advisory Board

The Advisory Board of heat processing magazine has a new member. Till Schreiter is Managing Director of ABP Induction Systems GmbH in Dortmund, Germany, and advises from now on the editorial staff in technical questions.

Before he took over the position as Managing Director at ABP, Till Schreiter was a director with Atreus Interim Management, and a member of the management team of ABB AG where he served as Managing Director and head of the discrete automation and motion division in Germany and leader of strategic accounts. Previously, he was with SMS Demag where he was the managing director of SMS Demag South Africa, General Manager of the global electric steel mill business and Director of iron and steelmaking for North and Central America located in the USA.
He began his career with MAN GHH where he started as an electrical engineer installing and commissioning arc furnaces. Till Schreiter has a degree in electrical engineering from the RWTH in Aachen University.
The entire heat processing team welcomes him as Advisory Board member and looks forward to a good collaboration.

Industriepolitik 2026: „Raus aus dem Jammertal, rauf auf den Lösungsweg“

Der Wirtschaftsverband Stahl- und Metallverarbeitung (WSM) fordert konkrete Sofortmaßnahmen zur Stärkung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit: Aussetzung des nationalen CO2-Preises für die Industrie und Abschaffung des Solidaritätszuschlags. „Wir müssen raus aus dem Jammertal, rauf auf den Lösungsweg”, betont WSM-Hauptgeschäftsführer Christian Vietmeyer. Beide Maßnahmen seien kurzfristig umsetzbar und würden 2026 direkt wirken.
