In the Indian city of Jamshedpur, steel producer Tata Steel operates an integrated iron and steel works for flat and long products. The plant has a total capacity of more than 10 million tons per year. SMS Siemag has delivered two BOF converters, each with a maximum tapping weight of 170 tons, as well as the tilting drives.
