International technology Group Andritz has received an order to supply a pickling and galvanizing line for hot-rolled steel strip from Rizhao Steel Holding Group, one of China’s leading steel producers. The line is designed for a capacity of 700,000 t/a and scheduled for start-up in the first quarter of 2016.
Andritz Metals will supply the complete production line, including the mechanical, process engineering, and electrical equipment. The efficient and eco-friendly Andritz pickling and furnace technology as well as the experience with coupled processes in complex production lines were the key factors in award of this order.
