Bodycote opens new heat treatment plant in Taicang, China

Bodycote, one of the world’s largest thermal processing services providers, announced that the company has opened a new heat treatment plant in Taicang, China. The new facility, situated in Jiangsu Province, is designed to offer services required by automotive and general industrial customers, including a range of classical heat treatment processes such as carburizing, carbonitriding, annealing, normalizing and neutral hardening.

Bodycote, one of the world’s largest thermal processing services providers, announced that the company has opened a new heat treatment plant in Taicang, China. The new facility, situated in Jiangsu Province, is designed to offer services required by automotive and general industrial customers, including a range of classical heat treatment processes such as carburizing, carbonitriding, annealing, normalizing and neutral hardening.
The new facility occupies over 5,000 m2 and includes a fully equipped laboratory for quality and metallurgical inspections. The Taicang plant complements Bodycote’s nearby Kunshan facility, opened in September 2014, which provides nitriding and vacuum technology. The new plant brings the number of Bodycote plants in China to five, and underpins the company’s strategy for growth in China. (Source: Bodycote plc)
