The furnace is designed for homogenising annealing and cooling by means of forced air of slabs and billets for aluminium (series 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) of square and round sections having range from 300 x 700 mm up to 800 x 3,200 mm having lengths from 1,000 mm up to 6,800 mm.
The furnace reached the highest level of performance class 1 (±3°C) according with AMS2750E.
The plant has been successfully started production operation after smooth commissioning and final acceptance.
