The new furnace cell supplied by Andritz will incorporate the largest furnaces in China, with two 115-t round-top melters and two 125-t tilting holders.
The scope of supply includes engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, start-up and follow-up services. Andritz will supply the most advanced equipment and technology for state-of-the-art operation, thus ensuring highest environmental protection.
Andritz also supplied four casting cells for this customer’s casting workshop in 2012, which at that time was the largest high-end aluminium plate and strip casthouse in China. The furnaces supplied by Andritz are the largest aluminium melting furnaces ever supplied to China.
