In comparison to the established baseline agreed upon at the beginning of the project, consumption reductions were realized in the following areas: electricity (kWh/metric tls) 3.26 %; natural gas (Nm3/metric tls) 2.05 %; oxygen (Nm3/metric tls) 4.31 %; charge carbon (kg/metric tls) 6.64 %. The end result for the customer was an improved operation for a greater return on investment.
