The facility will be upgraded in spring of 2017 within a 3-week time frame. A new bell annealer facility for cold rolling mill 2 (KWW2) with a total of 16 new workbases was also ordered from Ebner as part of the “Linz 2020” project, and started up production on schedule at the beginning of 2016.
This state-of-the-art facility is designed to maximize energy efficiency while minimizing emissions. The facility was also designed to accommodate an upgrade to fully-automatic production, which is planned for a later time. The order also included a new water system for the entire bell annealer facility.
