After eight years the German Refractory Industry is pleased to host the UNITECR World Conference again in Germany. The event opens from September 27th to 29th, 2023 in Frankfurt.
Germany welcomes the world’s leading refractory manufacturers and their customers from the sectors steel, cement, glass, petrochemical or waste incineration and other segments with high-temperature manufacturing processes.
The Scientific Committee reviewed and evaluated a record number of submissions. More than 250 lectures will be presented over three days at Kap Europa in Frankfurt, and 80 posters will be shown. So far, 40 companies have reserved a booth in the accompanying exhibition. The branding in the building and individual sponsoring measures have already been assigned.
“This conference breaks all previous records: More than 330 submissions for a specialist congress in our industry, highest quality in terms of content and focus on the main theme of the UNITECR 2023 “The Carbon Challenge”. That has never happened before,”
explains Thomas Kaczmarek, Managing Director of the German Refractories Association and responsible as Secretary General for the UNITECR. But you can still be there.
