The event helped industry players to seize marketing opportunities so as to drive industry growth. Presenting at the events were top global brands such as AMAG, Constellium, Nippon Light Metal, SMS Group, Danieli, TMEIC, Primetals, Hycast, Wagstaff, Pyrotek and RHI as well as local leading companies including Chalco, Kam Kiu, Press Metal, Giant, Yunhai, Gree, Mingtai, and Innovation Metal. Meanwhile, at the 2nd edition of Lightweight Asia, Novelis, Hongqiao, Baosteel, PTG, FSW showcased the cutting-edged materials, technologies and up-to-date trends on automotive lightweight application as exhibitors.
A series of conferences and forums were held alongside the 3-day exhibition raising new ideas and different discussions. Automotive Lightweight Processing Technologies and Relevant Materials Innovative Application Forum was designed to suit the needs of auto industry. Focusing on the automotive lightweight processing technologies, leading auto makers shared insights on hot lightweight-related topics, offering ideas and inspirations to the industry. The newly launched Logistics Vehicle Innovation Forum (LVIF) drove people’s attention to the logistics vehicle sector. The latest topics around cargo transportation efficiency, loading capacity, fuel economy, environmental protection, and others that are interested to logistics players were discussed at the forum.
Apart from the auto industry, Appearance and Application of Aluminium Alloy in Consumer Electronics Seminar raised the discussion around the hot topics of consumer electronics appearance design, demand, processing technology, etc. Leading representatives came to share insights on unlimited possibilities of the electronics market with aluminium processing companies. In addition, The Aluminum Packaging and Sustainability Forum gathered masters from packaging companies and international associations such as International Aluminium Institute (IAI), Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI), the Global Aluminium Foil Roller Initiative (GLAFRI), who shared insights on the impact of aluminium packaging on sustainable development.
ALUMINIUM CHINA engaged the participants through multiple onsite activities. Especially, a series of commemorative activities were held to celebrate its 15th anniversary. A timeline demonstration gallery was set up to showcase the development of the aluminium industry and to review the course of the exhibition over the past 15 years. Another spotlight was on the Aluminium and Art area with very eye-catching gowns and artworks made of aluminium foils which was made by a German designer. The organizer specially invited the designer to present the theme of “aluminium fashion” to highlight the unique application of aluminium foil.

ANDRITZ receives final acceptance for pickling line and acid regeneration plant at voestalpine, Austria
International technology group ANDRITZ has successfully completed the supply of a continuous pickling line, acid regeneration plant, acid purification plant, and silicon removal systems to voestalpine in Linz, Austria.
