Last year, the congress event recorded a growth of 10 % and the affiliated exhibition, a growth of as much as 30 %. For 2015, AWT management has earmarked an improvement: This year relying on a “cube concept solution” the congress hall will move into the hall opposite the exhibition, into Hall 2.2. Passage 2/4 housing the restaurant and an information point located between the congress hall and the exhibition will serve as a meeting point for all visitors to the event. Also located here is the “feedback area” intended for discussions on the presentations and for the poster exhibition showcasing the AWT expert committees. On the square and as the focal point of the exhibition is where our own research institute, the Foundation Institute of Materials Science, IWT, will take centre stage. It is also where visitors will have WiFi access.
