Metal Show & TIB 2020, the international exhibition for metalworking, technologies and industrial equipment, has been postponed to the period from 29 September to 2 October 2020.

Metal Show & TIB 2020, the international exhibition for metalworking, technologies and industrial equipment, has been postponed to the period from 29 September to 2 October 2020.
Due to the exceptional circumstances and in order to be able to apply the current regulations of the institutions regarding COVID-19, after evaluating the current situation with some of their exhibitors, the organisers took the necessary protection measures and postponed the event to the end of September. Der Wirtschaftsverband Stahl- und Metallverarbeitung (WSM) fordert konkrete Sofortmaßnahmen zur Stärkung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit: Aussetzung des nationalen CO2-Preises für die Industrie und Abschaffung des Solidaritätszuschlags. „Wir müssen raus aus dem Jammertal, rauf auf den Lösungsweg”, betont WSM-Hauptgeschäftsführer Christian Vietmeyer. Beide Maßnahmen seien kurzfristig umsetzbar und würden 2026 direkt wirken.
