MatchMaking is the new network tool of the website. Using MatchMaking, exhibitors and as visitors registered persons are able to plan and arrange dates prior to the event. Dates are stored in the visitor profile of the website and transferred to one`s own calendar by means of a calendar-related tool.
Online market place
The two components market place and the index of exhibitors form the new information platform of the new website. Exhibitors who booked the sponsoring package “Business” or “Premium” are able to inform about sector news, products, offers and vacancies with immediate effect. These publications can be filtered and stored by visitors.
New app for congress and exhibition
The new app provides support for visitors as well as exhibitors during the whole event. The programme and the abstracts of the congress are integrated in the app. The appointment management can also be navigated by means of the app and submitted to Outlook. The app for the Heat Treatment Congress will be published just before the beginning of the event for Android and iOS.
Additional indication for exhibitors
Free tickets for exhibitors which have been dispatched as voucher codes in recent years are now stored in the new online ordering platform for exhibitors. Also work passes for stand constructors can be ordered in the ordering platform. Please pass all work passes as well as the enclosed traffic guidance plan for assembly and disassembly on to your stand constructor. Please mind: this year the assembly of the exhibition is starting one day earlier, Saturday, 13 October at 07:00 and ending on Monday, 15 October at 21:00.
Discussion forum on materials and heat treatment for electromobility
This year, for the first time, there will be a discussion forum at the congress, to be held on Wednesday morning, on the theme of “materials and heat treatment for electromobility”. AWT has invited experts from research and industry to take part in the forum. The discussion will focus on challenges in terms of materials technology for the electrically powered drive train. Guests will receive an overview of the requirements for changes with regard to the required components and production processes for the drive train depending on current development forecasts. In addition, some metallic components will be highlighted by technology experts. These are, for example, electrical steel sheets, stator housings and rotors. A separate entrance ticket for the discussion forum can be purchased for € 150.
