The fair, which is organised by Reed Exhibitions in cooperation with the Brazilian aluminium association ABAL, is the most important meeting place for the aluminium industry on the South American continent. The fair is accompanied by the association’s International Aluminium Congress.
Growing demand for aluminium in Brazil
In the first half of 2019, consumption of aluminium products in Brazil recorded an increase of 7.5 % compared to the same period of 2018, Demand was particularly high in the packaging sector, where consumption rose by 16 %.
