The Symposium functions as a supporting programme to the main trade show and gives companies an ideal opportunity to present their technology based products and processes to a wider audience.
This year's main topics are:
  • Conservation of resources and energy efficiency under consideration of CO2 and NOx reduction
  • New heating concepts in thermoprocess technology
  • Challenges of fluctuating gas quality, e.g. with feed-in of alternative fuels
  • Requirements for thermoprocess technology due to changing user requirements (e. g. electrification of the powertrain in automotive engineering)
  • Industry 4.0 and its implementation in thermoprocess technology
  • New burner technologies.
Each speaker will have 30 min for his presentation including discussion. You may give your presentation in English or German. Please note that no simultaneous translation is available. Visitors of the trade fairs GIFA/METEC/THERMPROCESS/NEWCAST may join the Symposium ad hoc and at no charge. All lectures will be available for download.
