The combination of three thematically related industries offers an impressive event concept boasting extensive synergies. At Ankiros, manufacturers exhibit products, machines and technologies for the iron and steel industry. Exhibitors at Annofer showcase products, machines and technologies for non-ferrous metals, while Turkcast provides a forum for products and innovations from the foundry industry. In recent years, Turkcast has established itself as an international meeting-place offering manufacturers in the foundry sector the opportunity to highlight their products and provide visitors with information about the latest developments in casting techniques, molds, foundry equipment and metering systems.
In addition, the accompanying conferences will feature presentations on application technologies and topics such as methods to achieve cost savings and increased profitability and the use of energy-efficient processes in the foundry industry. These conferences include the 10th International Foundry Congress, staged by the Turkish foundry association TÜDÖKSAD, and the International Metallurgy and Materials Congress, which is organized by the Chamber of Metallurgical and Materials Engineers (UCTEA).
At the previous event in 2016, the organizers welcomed 975 exhibitors from 41 countries and 16,015 visitors from 77 countries. The trade fair predominantly attracted metallurgy specialists from Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Black Sea region, the Middle East, the CIS countries, Pakistan and India.
