Honeywell Users Group EMEA showcases how Honeywell Connected Plant helps manufacturers achieve consistently higher levels of performance. For the 30th time, Honeywell will welcome some of the world’s most-prominent industrial manufacturers to its EMEA customer conference.
For the 30th time, Honeywell (NYSE: HON) will welcome some of the world’s most-prominent industrial manufacturers to its EMEA customer conference this week. While those customers have undergone significant changes over the past three decades, the technology discussions that happen at this year’s Honeywell Users Group EMEA symposium in Madrid promise to advance a new era of manufacturing. More than 1,000 delegates will attend the event, which runs through Thursday and will include presentations and panel discussions from several Honeywell customers. The HUG EMEA agenda will show how Honeywell Connected Plant, powered by the company’s domain expertise, can help achieve that by turning data in to actionable insights. “Digital transformation is about so much more than moving data to the cloud,” said John Rudolph, president of Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS). “It’s ultimately about outcomes. That includes driving increased productivity and savings, but also unlocking the immense knowledge of their employees by developing tools that allow and optimize knowledge capture, sharing and retention. Efficiently using and transferring that knowledge benefits the whole enterprise.” Attendees will represent the oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper, and metals and mining sectors. The event features numerous displays of the newest technologies, along with dozens of Honeywell- and customer-led sessions and technical discussions. HUG attendees will be able to see and experience the company’s ongoing transformation into a software-industrial provider. As part of this transformation, several technologies that have been launched in 2018 will be displayed and demonstrated, including: Thermal IQ – Enables maintenance engineers and plant managers to more effectively monitor and manage their thermal process equipment, minimizing unplanned downtime and maximizing uptime. Measurement IQ for Gas provides measurement under control by transforming metering operations with 24/7 real-time condition-based monitoring. (Source: Honeywell Process Solutions)
