WSN was founded in the Netherlands in the port of Moerdijk, laying the foundation for a modern production site for wide-band galvanising and processing took place in September 2000.
Production at the Nederland plant commenced in February 2001. The state-of-the-art site includes a wide strip galvanising plant for widths up to 1,550 mm with integrated strip pickling and a cold rolling facility, as well as a slitting plant with packaging lines. Wuppermann Staal Nederland’s high-quality products include hot-dip galvanised wide strip and slit strip. Their production is characterised by the tightest tolerances, sophisticated surfaces and reliable corrosion protection. Since summer 2023, Wuppermann Staal Nederland has also been producing steel products with a significantly lower carbon footprint under the name WTopCarb.
