Peter Bernscher joins Tata Steel Nederland (TSN) as Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Board of Management

On September 1 2025, Peter Bernscher will join Tata Steel Nederland (TSN) as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), a new function. He will also become a member of TSN’s Board of Management and will, together with the other Board of Management members, focus on TSN’s transformation into one of Europe’s leading steel companies.

Peter Bernscher (Austrian, 1968) brings over 30 years of extensive management experience in the steel, automotive and processing industries. During his career, he successfully led commercial teams at Polytech and Voestalpine amongst others.

At Tata Steel Nederland (TSN), Peter will become responsible for shaping the company’s commercial strategy and strengthening its market position.

His extensive knowledge of the steel industry coupled with years of top level management experience will be of great value to us,” says T.V. Narendran, CEO & Managing Director of Tata Steel Limited and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TSN.

With the appointment of Peter Bernscher, the TSN Board of Management will be complete and will per September 1 2025 consist of four members: Hans van den Berg (CEO), Hans Turkesteen (CFO),  Akash Latchman (COO) and Peter Bernscher (CCO).
