Tungsten and molybdenum screens with tungsten mesh heater allow furnace temperatures up to 2,100 °C and higher with extremely short heating and cooling cycles. Possible furnace atmospheres are Argon, Nitrogen, Hydrogen (or a mix of these gases) and vacuum up to 5 x 10-5 mbar. The useful chamber measures Ø = 140 mm, h= 270 mm, approx. 4.0 l (up to approx. 700 l). The heating power is approx. 35 kVA (up to app. 600 kVA). The furnace is equipped with gas feeding unit (e.g. MFC control), safety package and burn-off device with flame control for protective gas operation with combustible gases. Temperature control is possible at choice by thermocouples W / Re or an optical pyrometer. A wide range of options is available.   (Source: Linn High Therm GmbH)
