Depending on the volumetric flow rate, more than 80 % of the exhaust air energy can be recovered. This enables the classification of a heat recovery ventilation unit in energy class A+ in force on 2016 European standard EN 13141 (2015), which specifies the testing requirements for home ventilation systems.
Decentral home ventilation systems are of particular interest for the renovation market. For the new tube heat exchanger only a whole with a diameter of 180 mm in the exterior wall is necessary, where the compact heat exchanger will be installed together with the complete ventilation system.
