The new product family comes with a power output of 60 to 240 kW in a frequency range of 1 to 200 kHz while boasting a user-friendly control concept. The generators have integrated control units, the PC software “TruControl Power” as well as diverse communications interfaces, including A/D, Profibus and Profinet, that aid in the operation of the generator. With a data logging feature that records the MF parameters, users also know at all times what current is present on the inductor, resulting in complete process control.
The TruHeat MF Series 7000 (G2) offers the highest power density of its class for power supply units and external circuits. Its compact design means it takes up less space at the installation site and allows it to be located directly at the application. With voltage connection options ranging broadly from 342 to 528 V, the generators can be used anywhere in the world without requiring modifications. Also, due to their flexible cooling concept with cooling water temperatures of up to 45 °C and low differential pressures of 2.5 bar, this family of generators offers smooth, trouble-free operation. Their high peak efficiency of over 90 % ensures the highest level of efficiency and a significant reduction in cooling water consumption, thus making these generators not only environmentally friendly, but also easy on the budget.
Another highlight at the Thermprocess trade show will be a presentation of the redesigned TruHeat MF 3010-7040 induction generators. This product line has an output range of 10 to 40 kW at a frequency range of 5 to 200 kHz, which is double the frequency range of its predecessors. Therefore the redesigned generators are even more flexible to use. The generators are configured as two 19-inch inserts into a control cabinet slot. Since these generators can also be operated with the “TruControl Power” software, all MF generators now come with a uniform operating concept.
