After serving as the designated project manager at the trade fair itself, her official duties will commence on 1 January. In her new role, she will report to Olaf Freier, the business unit manager who will continue to be in charge of Reed Exhibitions’ cluster of materials trade fairs.
“Originally a ‘child’ of COMPOSITES EUROPE, Linda Hein has been familiar with all aspects of our materials trade fairs since 2007. This includes ALUMINIUM, an event she managed for three years in the interim”, says Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH CEO Hans-Joachim Erbel.
She will succeed Jessica Kristian, who will take over responsibility for marketing Reed Exhibitions Deutschland’s materials trade fairs in her new role as director of marketing at the start of the year. These events include the ALUMINIUM trade fairs worldwide as well as COMPOSITES EUROPE and IEX Insulation Expo. This centralization of marketing activities is aimed at significantly enhancing global marketing for these materials trade fairs. Currently, Reed Exhibitions materials trade fairs take place around the world in eight locations in Germany, China, India, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
