The company was previously under the ownership of REAL ALLOY (Beachwood, OH), a leading North American operator in the aluminum recycling and alloy production industry.

ETS Schaefer is a recognized leader in the design and application of monolithic ceramic fiber linings – specifically its well‑known Monster Modules™ and latest evolution, the Monster Lock™ attachment system. The company serves both heavy‑industry end users and OEMs whose demanding applications benefit greatly from monolithic fiber insulation solutions.

The newly acquired business will now operate under the name NUTEC ETS SCHAEFER as a wholly owned subsidiary of NUTEC. Daniel Llaguno, CEO of NUTEC Group, commented: “ETS Schaefer has a strong performance record, a great and experienced team, and our primary objective is to preserve and build upon its existing strengths while introducing gradual improvements. These efforts will focus on leveraging synergies between the two organizations, including expanded commercial coverage, enhanced engineering capabilities, and deeper fiber integration.”

Gerardo Muraira, President of NUTEC Fibers Division, added: “This acquisition aligns perfectly with NUTEC’s strategy. In particular, it will strengthen our value‑added ceramic fiber offerings and also help expand our technical and commercial capabilities in high-temperature insulation solutions.”

Brian Bradley, currently Business Manager of Engineered Systems at NUTEC Inc, will assume the position of General Manager for NUTEC ETS SCHAEFER.

“With more than 37 years of experience in the ceramic fiber industry, Brian will play an important role in supporting NUTEC’s commercial growth and research initiatives within the monolithic modules segment,” said Gerardo Muraira. “I am confident that this acquisition will further enhance NUTEC’s business and contribute positively to our continued growth.”
