The company’s progress was driven largely by a significant gain in the Sustainable Procurement pillar, which rose by 11 points, while other ESG pillars maintained their previously strong performance levels.
The company has also been awarded an EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing it among the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide over the past 12 months.
According to the latest scorecard, RHI Magnesita achieved an overall score of 81 out of 100, corresponding to a 95th-percentile ranking. The result puts the company well above the industry average across all assessed categories, according to EcoVadis benchmark data.
The improvement in the Sustainable Procurement pillar reflects collaboration across functions, regions, and business units, as well as engagement with suppliers and other stakeholders along the value chain, the company said.
RHI Magnesita described the result as a milestone but also emphasized that sustainability remains an ongoing effort, with plans to continue strengthening its performance going forward.
