SIMTOS (Seoul International Manufacturing Technology Show) is held in April of every even-numbered year. As Korea’s largest manufacturing technology exhibition, it attracted over 100,000 visitors in 2024. This year’s event will take place from April 13 to 17 at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.

DN Solutions has designated its exhibition concept as the “DN SOLUTIONS UNIVERSE,” representing a space where on-site visitors can explore a diverse world of manufacturing solutions tailored to each demand industry.

To bring this concept to life, the company will display 12 customized solutions for industries such as automotive, semiconductor, and aerospace, alongside AI solutions and digital twin technology.

The standout exhibit is the advanced 5-axis horizontal machining center F 6000 from Germany’s HELLER, which officially joined the DN Solutions family last month. Making its debut at a major domestic exhibition, this product boasts powerful cutting performance, high precision, exceptional reliability for a 24/7 continuous production environment, user-friendly operation, and a compact size compared to other 5-axis horizontal machines in its class. This performance is backed by HELLER’s technological prowess, having directly developed and manufactured key components such as spindles and swivel heads.

This event marks the first exhibition since DN Solutions acquired HELLER, and HELLER’s technical experts will be on-site to welcome visitors. The exhibition will also highlight HELLER’s rich history of over 130 years since its founding in 1894, showcasing the deep trust it has earned from major OEMs and global top-tier companies across various manufacturing sectors, including the automotive industry.

The second key viewing point is the customized solutions for major demand industries such as semiconductors and automotive. In response to the exploding demand in the semiconductor industry, the company will exhibit four semiconductor industry solutions, including the DNC series, designed to maximize the production efficiency of process consumables. Furthermore, for the automotive industry, which is undergoing continuous process innovation, new solutions tailored for next-generation processes will be unveiled for the first time.

In addition to the main exhibition, DN Solutions is preparing various events and programs to broaden customer touchpoints and strengthen the brand experience. Guided tours will be conducted at the DN Solutions booth throughout the exhibition period. To enhance customers’ understanding of the products and solutions, live demo cutting shows will be held, along with technical seminars focusing on automation and special machining solutions. Moreover, recruitment consultations will be available to attract talent who will lead the future of Korea’s machine tool industry.

“SIMTOS 2026 is one of the premier venues where DN Solutions’ products and solutions are exhibited most extensively. Visitors will be able to tangibly experience diverse manufacturing solutions for key industries like semiconductors and automotive within our broader and deeper DN Solutions Universe,” a company official stated. “Furthermore, as this year’s exhibition is the first official joint event for DN Solutions and HELLER, it will serve as an excellent opportunity to witness the synergy of our combined strengths firsthand.”

Swegon advances air handling units with recycled steel

Swegon is advancing a more resource-efficient and circular construction industry with the launch of the next-generation GOLD air handling unit, generation G. Designed to meet rising HVAC and building-sector demands, over 70% of the total steel weight is now represented by recycled steel and almost 60% of the total material weight is recycled material. As a result, the new unit – significantly reduces its embodied carbon while maintaining the performance and reliability expected of a GOLD unit.
