The line will be part of MFG’s precision alloy color coating industrial park project in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.
CERI Technology is leading the project for the new galvanizing line and will be responsible for delivering the mechanical terminal and post-treatment sections, while ANDRITZ will supply the annealing furnace section.
With an annual capacity of 400,000 tonnes, the line will primarily produce galvanized aluminium-silicon coated steel sheets. This type of coating significantly improves corrosion resistance and provides an attractive surface finish, making these products ideal for applications requiring enhanced durability and aesthetics, such as the outer panels of home appliances and automotive components.
ANDRITZ has a long track record and numerous references worldwide for its annealing furnaces for continuous annealing and galvanizing lines. Key features include a long radiant tube service life, high operational flexibility, precise furnace temperature control, stable coatings, and excellent airtightness.
This order further strengthens ANDRITZ’s position as a leading technology partner to the global metals industry, marking the beginning of a new collaboration with Hebei MFG.
The value of the order will not be disclosed. It is included in ANDRITZ’s order intake for the third quarter of 2025.
