In Talegaon, Pune, the groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for the new main facility of AICHELIN UNITHERM. On a plot of around 11,500 square meters, a modern production and office complex is being built that will unite all manufacturing activities under one roof. Completion is scheduled for mid-2026.
The new site includes a production hall of 6,500 square meters and 1,300 square meters of office space across two floors. With the relocation, AICHELIN UNITHERM is investing in long-term stability, modern working conditions, and improved infrastructure for its employees.
“India is one of the fastest-growing markets for industrial heat treatment worldwide. We therefore see enormous potential for sustainable growth and technological innovation,” says Christian Grosspointner, CEO of the AICHELIN Group. “With our new site in Talegaon, we are creating the foundation to further expand our market share, serve our customers even better, and provide a modern working environment.”
AICHELIN UNITHERM manufactures all atmospheric furnace types of the Group in India, supplying customers from the automotive industry, bearing manufacturing, and contract heat treatment providers. In recent years, the company has grown steadily to become a market leader in India. The new facility supports the company’s ambitious strategic goals to consolidate its market leadership in India and continue increasing revenue. Furthermore, the development of new heat treatment segments – starting with aluminum heat treatment – will be advanced, and export activities will be strengthened.
Expanded Site in Beijing
Parallel to its investments in India, the AICHELIN Group is also taking an important step in China: After four decades of successful presence with more than 500 employees on site, the company has moved into a new, modern office in the Future Science City in Beijing’s Changping district. The new location, offering 3,000 m² of office space, brings together development, sales, service, and training, making it a central pillar of the regional growth strategy.
