New convenor for ISO/TC 244, WG2

Mike Debier (Belgium) has resigned from the leadership of ISO/TC 244/WG2 (Safety requirements for combustion and fuel handling systems). His successor is Martin Wicker (Elster group, Germany).

Mike Debier (Belgium) has resigned from the leadership of ISO/TC 244/WG2 (Safety requirements for combustion and fuel handling systems). His successor is Martin Wicker (Elster group, Germany).
Martin Wicker studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen, Germany, and worked at BFI (Betriebsforschungsinstitut of VDEh) in the sector of applied research for thermo processing equipment and burner technology. After this, he worked as project engineer for planning and implementing of thermo processing plants and burner technology.                                                                                                                              > Read more

Die Aurubis AG, ein weltweit führender Anbieter von Nichteisenmetallen und einer der größten Kupferrecycler der Welt, hat das zweite Quartal (endete am 31. März 2026) mit einem verbesserten Ergebnis abgeschlossen: Das operative Ergebnis vor Steuern von 121 Mio. € lag 15 % höher als im Vorquartal (Q1 2025/26: 105 Mio. €), das operative EBITDA stieg auf 187 Mio. € (Vorquartal: 164 Mio. €).
