The research project “CERamic heat EXchangers with enhanced materials PROperties” led by Professor Dimosthenis Trimis, TU Bergakademie Freiberg, with participation of CECOF, has been successfully completed after a 48 months term.
The aim of CEREXPRO, a project funded by the European commissionwas the development of a new generation of ceramicheat exchangers for high temperature heat recovery withthe target of significantly reducing the size and weight of theexchanger components while reducing the price of such componentsthrough simplifying the manufacturing process andallowing higher flexibility in heat exchanger geometry.
