Originally, Allied had two Alabama locations in Anniston and Pell City. After purchasing Riverside Refractories, they decided it would be best to combine both of those locations into one – the new Pell City facility.
Headquartered in Columbus, Allied Mineral Products manufactures monolithic refractories and precast refractory shapes with 12 worldwide manufacturing facilities, five precast-shapes facilities and three research and technology centers.
