Recent results of numerical and experimental research activities in the field of electromagnetic processing of materials, will be presented at the colloquium. The main topics are:

- Process control and optimization
- Digitalization and artificial intelligence in electromagnetic processing
- Decarbonization and sustainability of industrial thermal processes
The colloquium will take place from September 15 to 17, 2025 in the building “Königlicher Pferdestall”, a forum for communication, science and culture of Leibniz University Hannover. located in the street Applelstrasse 7, in the campus area of the Leibniz University Hannover. The city of Hannover is the economic, cultural and scientific centre of Lower Saxony. It is famous for its trade-fairs and the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen.
